We have constructed this blog for Jojo and Red Head (not their real names, but names that they have picked for this blog.)

There are many benefits of blogging for kids. Jojo and Red Head are not concerned about the benefits but we will tell you them anyway.

1. It will improve their writing skills. Obviously, they are typing with the hunt and peck method, but they are still getting to express themselves in writing.
2. It will help them become more experienced and skilled in the use of technology. They will learn how to create a post and insert an image. It helps them understand how technology works.
3. Naturally, they want to be able to "play" on the computer. Blogging gives them a purpose to use the computer.
4. It begins the discussion on topics of what is appropriate to post and not appropriate to post.
5. It provides a platform for them to share their work with friends and relatives. They get to connect with people on a different level through the blog.

Rules for Our Blog

It is important to follow blog rules to ensure your safety.

1. Never EVER give out or record personal information on the blog. Don't give out your phone number or home address. Don't provide your first and last name.

2. When writing a post, make sure that anything that you write is something that you are proud to post. Obviously, all the content on the blog should be appropriate.

3. Do not post a picture of someone else unless they have approved to have the picture posted on the blog.

4. All comments are approved by the blog's moderator. Make sure that all comments that are written are positive and upbeat.
